Editing Day

Today we started editing! I first added all of the videos to the editing platform. Siena and Maria ordered them in the way that we wanted them. After that we began to edit out unnecessary parts or parts that weren't supposed to be there. Once the first round of general editing was done, the video was around 2 minutes long. For the general editing, we just looked through the video and clipped out obvious parts. Such as when we were talking about filming or our re tries. We then went into deeper editing for the beginning part of the video. Siena suggested we cut some of the table scene out. I clipped out some of the parts where I was looking distressed about the test grade, because there was a lot of it. Maria also suggested that I sped up the zoom in part to my head. It was a good idea, but when we tried it, it looked a little strange. So we kept it this clip normal instead.  We cut out some parts of us walking to the beach because it was taking up too much time. Every couple of edits I would save it to ensure that it wouldn't get deleted. I continued to make small edits to each clip, such as cutting out the middle of the video. This was the most time consuming part. We also had to cut out a lot from when we first got to the beach. There was a lot of unnecessary videos and it did not add to our video. We got about half of the editing done with today.
