Editing: Computer Troubles

I was in charge of editing. I first had to send the videos from my phone to my computer. This took a very long time to do and it slowed down our editing. I had to start editing in a little bit of a weird order because not all of the videos were coming through. My first step when I got the video onto my computer was downloading it and uploading it to my editing software. I then would trim parts of the video that were not needed. We wanted to make sure we fit into the time frame, so we had to cut a good amount of stuff out, not major scenes just little parts. As more of the videos came through, it became a little harder to edit. Since I did it a little out of order, when the rest of the videos came through, I got mixed up. So I just decided to restart because I remembered most of the editing I did. Then I could restart in the correct order. Once doing this it became a lot easier. I had to keep watching how long it was. I had to make sure to mute all the clips. My computer also takes a few minutes to download the videos. While waiting I sorted through the clips and picked out which ones I liked. I also did some editing on my phone. Nothing major, just cutting out the beginning and ends of some videos. I have not had to cut out that much from the middle of the clips yet. We are 18 seconds into our video.
